UNSCN Awards
Since its conception in 1976, the SCN has awarded several nutrition champions, experienced professionals and advocates as well as young researchers and practitioners.
The most well-know are the annual Dr Abraham Horwitz Memorial Lectures, which have taken the form as a lecture given at the SCN Session each year since 1997 by a young and talented professional.
Another prize is the SCN Award of Merit, usually awarded long and outstanding service to nutrition.
The Distinguished Nutrition Advocates have also been recognized for champions for nutrition.
