Launch event: HLPE Report on Sustainable Forestry for Food Security and Nutrition

At its 41st session in October 2014, the CFS requested the HLPE to prepare a study on Sustainable Forestry for Food Security and Nutrition, to feed into the CFS Plenary session of October 2017.

The Summaries and Recommendations, extracted from the full report, are now available in English here. The full report is now available for download here.

For those who are able to participate in person, the event will be held in the FAO HQ Red Room from 9:30-12:30 on 27 June. The event will be chaired by the Chair of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS), HE Amb. Amira Gornass. Opening remarks by Ms Maria Helena Semedo (DDG-N).

Interpretation: Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in the room in the 6 official languages.
