Scaling Up Nutrition : Task Forces
The Transition Team will draw on six inter-linked Task Forces to ensure sustained and focused support for SUN actions in-country.| Task Force A: |

| Country capability development This focuses on developing and strengthening country capabilities for scaling up nutrition. This includes support to multi-stakeholder platforms, the development of management systems and increased access to knowledge, standards and harmonized policies. |

| Task Force B: |

|
| Communication for Scaling Up Nutrition This focuses on communications and advocacy for Scaling-Up Nutrition with the Thousand Days Movement at its core. The Task Force also encourages the emergence of "Nutrition Leaders" at community, national, regional and global levels. |

| Task Force C: |
|
|
| Civil society participation This focuses on ways to ensure inclusive Civil Society participation in the SUN process, at local, country, regional and global levels, ensuring the rights and wellbeing of those at risk of malnutrition and promoting accountability of decision makers. |

| Task Force D: |
|
|
| Engagement of development partners This focuses on ways in which Development Partners, including bilateral agencies, development banks and philanthropic organizations, can be fully engaged in a coordinated response and the effort to Scale-Up Nutrition and can take a leading role in work with national governments. |

| Task Force E: |
|
|
| Engagement of the business community This focuses on ways in which the business community can be better engaged in the effort to scale up nutrition at all levels in ways that have the potential to be sustainable, and explore market based responses at the national level. |
||
| Task Force F: |
|
|
| Monitoring & reporting on in-country progress This focuses on multi-country and multi-stakeholder action to monitor and report on progress on scaling up nutrition at country level; working with authorities and with the other Task Forces identifying the need for more effective approaches that could be the subject of in-depth analysis. |
