Welcome to the UNSCN website

UNSCN is the food and nutrition policy harmonization forum of the United Nations.

The mandate of the UNSCN is to promote cooperation among UN agencies and partner organizations in support of community, national, regional, and international efforts to end malnutrition in all of its forms in this generation. Launch of the online consultation on the draft methodology for the Access to Nutrition Index (ATNI)

The online consultation on the draft methodology for the Access to Nutrition Index (ATNI) is supported by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Wellcome Trust. It aims to regularly assess global and regional food and beverage manufacturers' efforts to address both undernutrition and obesity.   Malnutrition is a multi-faceted challenge requiring constructive engagement from and between governments, consumers, civil society and industry. ATNI could be part of the solution by highlighting best practices across the food and beverage industry and serving as a roadmap for further progress.
