Regional Symposia on Sustainable Food Systems for Healthy Diets and Improved Nutrition

Although the Decade of Action creates an enabling political environment for turning commitments into action, countries need additional technical support to translate their political will into actionable programmes. In the stream of events following the 2014 ICN2, and under the UN Decade of Action on Nutrition, in December 2016 FAO and WHO co-convened the International Symposium on Sustainable Food Systems for Healthy Diets and Improved Nutrition in order to create an opportunity to share practical solutions and successful country experiences in implementing sustainable food systems for healthy diets.

This Symposium is being replicated at regional level, to better address challenges specific to each region.

Recordings of ALL sessions will be available online after the event.
