Nutrition for Developing Countries

A revised edition of the well-known book Nutrition for Developing Countries was published by Oxford University Press, UK. The book was edited by Felicity Savage King, Ann Burgess, Victoria J. Quinn and Akoto K. Osei, and its contributors, many of whom are staff members of Helen Keller International, have extensive field experience in Africa and Asia. Like the previous editions the book uses clear, simple language and many illustrations, and is suitable for a wide range of readers. Topics covered include basic nutrition, the Essential Nutrition Actions (including breastfeeding, and complementary feeding), food and nutrition security, and how to work with households and communities.
