SCN News 38: Climate Change: Food and Nutrition Security Implications

"We can rest assured: impacts there will be, regardless of how much some would like to make believe that there is nothing to worry about, either because there is no proof or technology will fix it. The areas where impacts will be most felt are agriculture, food systems and nutrition." writes the guest editor, Hans Herren.

The SCN News 38 shows the reader how, through different pathways, climate change impacts on food and nutrition security. It provides recommendations and climate change adaptation field experience from Asia and Africa. The publication attempts to link policy-makers as well as end-users and all the specialists in between into a team that will hopefully mount an appropriate response to the challenges faced.
