This paper aims to summarise the sometimes conflicting information currently available on the nutrition and food security situation in the DPRK. First, it gives some background information - a context in which to understand the current situation. It then summarises the available information and data on nutrition and food security in the country, pointing out where possible the limitations. The paper then discusses current interventions and what could be done to improve the situation.
